Concentrating in Human Geography

The
Human Geography concentration covers a broad range of geographical studies and
is one of the more popular concentrations for Geography majors. Areas of
study include different regional geography studies, cultural geography,
population geography, and political geography. The supporting area for a
human geography concentration varies widely depending on the student's
interests. Anthropology, sociology, history, government and politics,
natural resource management, or economics are some examples of common
supporting areas that geography majors choose. Below are courses that can
be included for a concentration in human geography. Note that Geography

level geography electives.
