There are several ways alumni can be involved in the department. Here are some ideas:

• Recieve news of the Department and Alumni news
• Recieve e-mail alerts of upcoming events
• Go to an Event!
• Volunteer to speak! In the past, we have had alumni speak before our undergraduates as part of the Geography 212 course. Alumni also have given advice at our semesterly job fairs (see below).
• Publicize and recruit at our Career Fair! The department holds a geography job fair every semester, in November and April. If you or your company is interested, please e-mail ... . The event is well attended, and our undergraduates have a wide variety of skills in both geographic methods and analysis. We also welcome alumni who wish to speak to to our undergraduates about finding a job or other career skills.
• Help sponsor an event for the Department or Alumni Group. This past summer, an Alumnus in Baltimore enabled a class to tour the harbor's port facilities. We are always looking for unique opportunities to enrich our students' experience and provide special opportunities for alumni.
• Visit our Geography career site
