Since then the
Mid-Atlantic RESAC has expanded with new sponsors and has added the
Woods Hole Research

Examples of issues that are being addressed include nutrient runoff to the Chesapeake
Bay, urban and residential sprawl, farm and forest productivity, and development and
dissemination of information to facilitate improved land management.
Project activities are also intended to provide a better understanding of regional impacts
of global environmental change, as defined by the National Assessment of the US Global Change Research Program (USGCRP) and the Mid-Atlantic Regional Assessment (MARA).
