Qinqing received her B.S. degree in the school of Electronics Engineering and Computer Science, Peking University, China. She was an undergraduate student of the department of computer science and technology in Peking University, China, and finished a project of the National University Student Innovation Test Plan in the Microprocessor Research and Development Center, Peking University.  In August 2011, she joined the Ph. D. program in Geography. Her current research focuses on the analysis of the surface energy budgets over the Tibetan Plateau and its relationship to the Asian summer monsoon and linkage with water resources over northern China.
