Objective: To expose students to various aspects of human geography through classroom activities, invited speakers, and individual research. Students will gain an appreciation of how to conduct research within the field of human geography by attending lectures and presentations given by the instructor and researchers within the department.  The main focus of the class is to prepare students to conduct and write a research paper in the field of human geography.
