It addresses the causes and consequences of land use change and its relationship to climate change. Chris Justice from our department has the role of LCLUC Program Scientist. As part of the NASA program outreach, the LCLUC Program Support Team at UMd maintain the program website, organize workshops and periodically develop a brochure which describes the goals and activities of the program. The various research projects from the program are highlighted including some from our department. The brochure can be downloaded from the NASA LCLUC web site (http://lcluc.umd.edu/).2) The Land Theme Report of the Integrated Global Observing Strategy.
