Our faculty continue to be appointed to positions on senior governmental and non-governmental committees. This is just one indicator of the growing visibility of our department and the regard in which it is held.

Professor Michael Kearney has been appointed a member of the National Water Quality Monitoring Council (NWQMC) part of the Advisory Committee on Water Information, a presidential level advisory committee.
