Graduate student Kelley O’Neal was recently awarded a highly-competitive NASA Fellowship of $89,751 over a three-year period. Out of the 200 applicants, only 50 were offered fellowships. Her research is titled “Impacts of grazing, fire, and precipitation variability on woody plant cover in the Chihuahuan desert grasslands, USA.”
