Two Graduate Students Win Summer Research Fellowships
|
Doctoral students Angira Baruah and Jacqueline Waite have been selected as recipients of the 2008 Summer Research Fellowships. The fellowships are designed to support doctoral research during the summer and carry a stipend of $5,000. Angira will be using the fellowship to take a course in ocean color remote sensing offered by Cornell University. Jackie will be using her fellowship to study conflict in the Chesapeake Bay watershed.
