A: The most common solution, using ctrl-alt-delete to access Windows Task Manager, is not a viable option to manage this problem in the geography open lab. For security reasons, Task Manager has been disabled in the open lab.

When a program locks up and freezes your machine, the best option available is to save any work in other responding programs and restart your computer.

To prevent loss of progress in your work, remember to save often in case a program does lock up.
