Q: I'm having trouble logging in. What should I do?


A (I): If the screen says "username not authorized," then you may not have a functioning Glue account yet. If you do not already have a GLUE account, you can obtain one by following these steps:

  1. Navigate to http://www.oit.umd.edu/new/.
  2. Select the Existing Faculty/Staff/Student/Affiliate link.
  3. Enter your Directory ID and password.
  4. Select TerpConnect as the service to be activated. Your Glue account will be available 1-3 days after it is requested.

A (II): If the screen says "login incorrect," the password has been entered incorrectly. Try again. If it's still not working, you may be using the wrong password. If you've forgotten your password, please read the Forgotten Passwords FAQ.
