A: When you execute the command to start a program from a X-term window, the print account information needs to be entered into that same X-term window.

For example, if you print from ArcView you need to find the X-term window running ArcView. This window will contain the following text beginning with the name of the machine you are working on:

geog50:~: gtap arc
You can now start ArcInfo 8.0.2 or ArcView 3.2a

Use gtap arc-old to connect to ArcInfo 7.1.2 or ArcView 3.1
===========================================================
To start, type arc or arcview
geog50:~: arcview

Once you print, the following will appear in that window below the previous text:

Print account? 

This is where you enter your print account information.
