To print on the Open Laboratory printers requires a Terrapin Express account:

1. Getting a Terrapin Express debit account.

   If you do not already have a Terrapin Express Account, you can open one with a minimum deposit of $20 in room 1109, South Campus Dining Hall (next to Lefrak Hall) or online at http://dining.umd.edu/terrapin. Payment options include cash, check, or credit. The account should be ready immediately. Value can be added to existing accounts with either of the previous methods

2. Printing from a computer
   • PC: Print from an application (Generally File->Print), and a window will pop up asking you which printer you want to print to. Here you can also adjust the range of pages and number of copies in the print.

     You will then be prompted for your Directory ID and password.

There are two printers available in the lab:

3. Refunding a bad print-out.

   Use the refund form at http://www.helpdesk.umd.edu/documents/0/185/. Printer-caused defects, such as toner smears or streaks, low toner, or jammed paper, are eligible for credit. Editing and formatting mistakes are not reimbursed.
