Research Interests
- Karl Wurster is an ESSIC/NASA-Goddard Graduate Research Fellow. His is
advised by Dr. Ruth DeFries (Geography) and Dr. Marc Imhoff (NASA-Goddard).
His research interests focus around integrating satellite analysis with local ecological
and social surveys to better understand the effects of land use and management on forest ecosystems.
