Adjunct Faculty: Manuel Campagnolo
Manuel Lameiras Campagnolo is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Mathematics of the Institute of Agronomy at the Lisbon University of Technology. He completed his Masters degree in Applied Mathematics at Lisbon University of Technology in 1992 and a PhD in 2002 also at Lisbon. His recent research activity and publications have been mainly on Theoretical Computer Science. He was also involved in several projects on classification of multispectral imagery, and has been recently working with SPOT/VEGETATION data for land cover mapping of the Brazilian Amazon. He is interested in optimization and complexity issues in classification of remotely sensed data, computation theory, computational complexity, algorithms for pattern classification and remote sensing.
