The Dynamics of Change in Alaska's Boreal Forests: Resilience and Vulnerability in Response to Climate Warming

Under this project, Dr. Kasischke serves as a Senior Investigator on the Bonanza Creek Long-Term Ecological Research Team. As part of this team, Dr. Kasischke is carrying out research on the affects of variations in climate on the fire regime of the North American fire regime, as well as field-based research on the impacts of variations in fire severity on permafrost and post-fire succession.
